Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 6, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information Fibo Art (“Fibo”, “we”, “us”) collects from the families who take our art classes, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to our parent website and app (parents.fiboart.com), our free trial class booking page, and the text messages, emails and phone calls we exchange with you about our classes.

If you have any questions about this policy or about your information, email classes@fiboart.com or call 714-579-1929 during studio hours.

Information We Collect

We only collect the information we need to teach your child and run your account. You give us this information directly when you book a trial class, create an account, register for a class or camp, schedule an appointment, make a payment, or contact us.

Contact information: your name, your relationship to the student, your email address and your mobile or home phone number.

Student information: your child’s first and last name, date of birth, grade, and the school they attend. Our instructors also photograph finished artwork so it can be shown to you in your child’s gallery.

Health and learning notes (optional): when you add a student, you can tell us about a learning disability or a medical condition, such as an allergy. We use these notes only to keep your child safe and to adapt how we teach them. They are seen only by the Fibo staff who teach or care for your child, and are never used for marketing or shared with anyone outside Fibo.

Account information: your email address and a password you choose. Your password is stored only in hashed form, and Fibo staff cannot see it.

Payment information: when you pay tuition or enable autopay, your card or bank account details and billing address are sent to our payment processor to charge the payment. Fibo keeps only what is needed to show you your payment history and to run the autopay you asked for.

How you heard about us: we ask new families how they found Fibo, including the name of a friend who referred you, so we can thank them.

Class feedback: after a trial or class we may ask you to rate it and add comments. Your answers are saved with your child’s appointment and used to improve our classes.

Usage information: like most websites, our pages record basic technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, and the pages you visit. Our pages load Google Analytics, which helps us understand how the site is used, and the Facebook and Pinterest software that powers artwork sharing. These load on every page, whether or not you share anything, so Google, Facebook and Pinterest receive standard request information such as your IP address and browser type and may set their own cookies. On our free trial page, Google Analytics and, when it is switched on, the Meta (Facebook) pixel also receive the steps you take while booking: the studio, program and grade you pick, the class time, and whether the booking went through, including its appointment number. They never receive your name, email address or phone number, or your child’s name. The trial page may also use a Cloudflare check to block automated bookings. We use cookies and your browser’s local storage to keep you signed in and remember your choices.

How We Use Your Information

To schedule and teach classes, trial classes, camps, makeup classes and other appointments, and to confirm them with you.

To send you reminders, schedule changes, studio closure notices, and updates about your child’s progress and artwork.

To bill tuition, process payments and autopay, and send receipts.

To answer your questions and provide customer support.

To keep our site and your account secure, prevent fraud and abuse, and improve our classes and our app.

To send you news and offers about Fibo programs, only where you have agreed to receive them. You can opt out at any time.

Text Messages (SMS)

When you give us your mobile phone number and agree to receive text messages, Fibo Art may text you about your free trial class, appointment confirmations and reminders, schedule changes and studio closures, account and billing notices, and replies to questions you send us. We will not send you promotional text messages unless you have separately agreed to receive them.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Check with your mobile carrier for details about your plan.

Opting out: you can stop receiving text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message from us. You will receive one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed and no further texts after that. You can also opt out by emailing classes@fiboart.com or calling 714-579-1929. If you opt out and later want texts again, just let us know and we will re-enroll your number.

Help: reply HELP to any message for assistance, or contact us at classes@fiboart.com or 714-579-1929.

Agreeing to receive text messages is not a condition of booking a class or buying anything from Fibo. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

The full terms of our text message program are in our SMS Terms & Conditions.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. This includes your mobile phone number and your text messaging opt-in data and consent, which are never shared with anyone for marketing.

Service providers: we use a small number of companies to help us run Fibo, and we share with them only what they need to do their job for us: our payment processor to charge tuition, our email and text messaging providers to deliver the messages described above, the companies that host our website and data, and the analytics and security services named above. They are not allowed to use your information for their own purposes.

Legal reasons: we may disclose information if required by law, subpoena or court order, or to protect the rights, property or safety of Fibo, our students, our staff or others.

Business changes: if Fibo is sold or merged, your information may be transferred to the new owner, who must continue to honor this policy.

Artwork you choose to share: when you share a piece of your child’s artwork from the gallery, it is posted to the social network you picked under that network’s own privacy policy. The first time a piece is shared, Fibo also posts it on Fibo’s own Facebook, Twitter (X) and Pinterest accounts with your child’s first name and last initial. Nothing is posted unless you press a share button.

Children’s Privacy

Our website and app are for parents and guardians. Accounts are created by adults, and the information we hold about a child (name, date of birth, grade, school, artwork, and any health or learning notes you choose to give us) is provided to us by the parent or guardian for the purpose of teaching the child. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information directly, contact us and we will delete it.

Security and Retention

Our website and app use encrypted connections (HTTPS), passwords are stored hashed, and access to family records is limited to the Fibo staff who need it to teach your child or manage your account. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information with reasonable physical, technical and administrative safeguards.

We keep your information for as long as your family has an account with us and for as long afterwards as we need it to meet our legal, tax and record-keeping obligations and to resolve any disputes. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see below).

Your Choices and Rights

Access and correction: you can change your password and your autopay settings in the app. To review or correct your contact details or your child’s information, email or call us and we will update them.

Deletion: you can ask us to delete your family’s information. We will do so unless we are required to keep some records by law.

Text messages: reply STOP to any text, or contact us, to stop receiving texts.

Email: you can unsubscribe from non-essential emails using the link in the email or by contacting us. We will still send emails needed to run your account, such as receipts and class confirmations.

Cookies and analytics: you can block or clear cookies in your browser settings. Some features, such as staying signed in, need them to work.

To exercise any of these rights, email classes@fiboart.com or call 714-579-1929. We may ask you to confirm your identity first, and we will respond within 30 days.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page, and for material changes we will also let you know by email or with a notice in the app. Your continued use of our services after a change means you accept the updated policy.
